The musical Carol King – Beautiful passed through town. RHS’69 had to go. They went. They loved it.
Ridin' the Rails

Class of RHS'69 loves to travel. They'll go just about anywhere, just to go.
Usually it's by plane or boat.
Sometimes it's anything else handy.
Art and Josie Akana just
came back from riding
the rails.
There's an old saying...give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile.
Prime example are RHS'69 alumni.
Example - someone yells "cruise!" and they're packing their bags.
This time it's Alaska. As Reunion Committee chair Vincent Yim says, at least it's the warm time of the year.
But then, there's the mosquitoes...

Yup, they were at it again. A group of 69'ers gathered to practice their first love...karaoke.

The last 2 years with COVID has messed up a lot of stuff. One example are the water fountains RHS'69 raised money for RHS to purchase. Then they shut the schools. Things are looking better and the DOE is lumbering to life.
As Harold Fujii explains - they are almost all ready to go.
Almost.
Water Fountains Part Deux

As the old story goes, some friends were walking down a long, narrow and dark tunnel.
One said, "I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel."
Another replied, "Let's hope it's not a train".
As RHS'69 Reunion Committee chair Vincent Yim says, that light means things are lookin' up after the last couple of years. We made it because of our friends and it's going to be a great Christmas.
