RHS'69
Fall Canadian Cruise - Day 3
Charlottetown, Prince Edward
I have my jacket and dress shirts all on wire hangers. Wire hangers take less room than plastic hangers and they do not break.
I fold them nice and neat and put them in a zippered clothes bag. Then I tri-fold the clothes bag.
As soon as I get into my cabin I open my luggage, grab the clothes bag by the hangers and hang them in the closet. Then unzip the bag, all nice and neat and no wrinkles.
My briefs and sock are my big expense. I pack only enough for 12 days. On the 10th day I send then out to have them laundered. It cost $1.50 each to clean. It is a small price to pay to take only half the luggage space.
The two belts are reversible, black and brown and black and grey.
If I had an active day I will take a shower mid-day or before dinner and then take another before or after I go to bed. This will help keep my clothes fresher. Maybe I should brush my teeth more often. This will help keep my mouth fresher and I might get more kisses from Wendy.
DO NOT get too fashion paranoid. Do not bring a single ensemble for a single use. The only people that knows are the ones that you are traveling with and they know you better than you think...they are in the same boat. They will forgive you if you are slightly mis-matched. Everybody else on board don't care.
My bulkiest garment is my Dunhill dinner jacket and I did not pack a white dress shirt and tie! I will wear either my yellow or white t-shirt, with it as my formal wear. I plan to wear it 3 to 5 times and even walk down the streets of New York City with it...hope I am not out of place???

Day 3 - Charlottetown, Prince Edward
Charlottetown is the capital and largest city of the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, with a population just under 40,000.
It snows a lot in winter with an average 114 inches in December and January. The temperature range in October is between 40 - 55 degrees. Charlottetown has numerous parks and playing fields for soccer, baseball, softball, football (soccer), rugby, and field hockey and Cricket.
First Aid
Since my heart attack I carry a small pouch for the occasional accident.
We all have all those miracle pills stashed away in bathroom medicine cabinet.
Don't bring them all, just a few of each. Hate it when I have to buy a whole bottle for just a few. Any more you should go to the infirmary. Just like when I had my attack, infirmary took care of it for me.
Do not over stock. Most of it will expire.
Those small blue pills are Advil...
Because it's cloudy and rainy we ducked into Charlottetown Seaport Mall.
Wendy did some damage to support the local economy.
We're off next on the tour bus to see town.
The Norwegian Bliss docking at Charlottetown on a gray and overcast day.
My ray of sunshine is peeking over the rail.
Day 4 - off to Sydney, Nova Scotia
Autumn is arriving and on the mainland that means the leaves are starting to change color.
What better time for a cruise to check it out.
RHS'69 Reunion chair Vincent Yim and his wife Wendy are off cruising eastern Canada and U.S. to watch the leaves turn for Autumn.
