This is the third tour to Japan by some members of the Combined Class of '69.
Thirty-nine alum of RHS'69, Kalani'69 and McKinley'69 are taking in Northern Japan this time.

October 24 - Day 1
Honolulu to Chitose (Hokkaido).
Oops, lose a day crossing the International Date Line. They'll get it back later.
This is a travel day. A long one as the flight from Honolulu to Sapporo, Japan is a hair over 9 hours.
We flew in headwinds most of the way and took us over 8.5 hours. We landed in Chitose airport in Sapporo. Most of us seniors were way pass our beddy bye bye time, but all of us were high in spirit and raring to see what delights Hokkaido has to offer.
Immediately checking into the Century Royal Hotel we all went down stairs to Daimaru department store and the huge underground shopping mall.....like couple city blocks huge! Russell, Char Shiroma, Alan and Sandy, Wendy and I went to a small ramen shop to have our first meal and beer in Sapporo. Now it is beddy bye bye time.
