Fall Canadian Cruise - Day 10

At Sea

Day 10 - At Sea - Boston to New York

This is a laze around, do-nothing type of day. Maybe hang on the rail and watch the coastline go by. Maybe eat. Maybe nap to get ready for the "City that never sleeps".

Enroute from Bean Town to the Big Apple. This is the final stop for the cruise but more adventures await.

For years I always carried this multi tools gadget.

If you need to cut, file, screw, open a can, pry open, puncture, plier, saw and measure, you need to pack this tool with you.

I all my years I only used this tool maybe three times. All the other times that I needed it, I forgot I had it.

It comes with age!

Just In Case Tool

Next - The Big Apple, the city that never sleeps - New York City is next.

This is the final stop on the cruise but 4 days of adventures are yet to come.

Next month some of us are going to Las Vegas for 5 days.  Some of us will go not to gamble but to power shop.  We all know who they are.

Because the airlines now charge for each bag, you do not want to go over with one and come home with two bags. You will be charged for that extra bag and those deals you got in Vegas are out the window.

If you half fill your elephant bag only to stuff it on the return home with your purchases, your bag going over will be crushed.

Fill your half empty bag with a inflatable seat cushion, neck pillow or a round inner tube.

Do not blow it up full, no more than half or barely filling your bag.  If blown up full, the pressure of the altitude and the weight of another bag sitting on your bag will pop your inner tube.

Hope your deals found does not go to the airline Baggage Fee Fund!

Stuff it Properly

Our ship is at sea, heading to New York.

Today is our last day on board the Norwegian Gem. We plan to disembark tomorrow at 9:45 AM and begin our 4 days in NYC.

This forlorn, empty bowl once contained part of our lunch - Cherries Jubilee.

A premature celebration for a wonderful 12-day cruise.

Autumn is arriving and on the mainland that means the leaves are starting to change color.

What better time for a cruise to check it out.

RHS'69 Reunion chair Vincent Yim and his wife Wendy are off cruising eastern Canada and U.S. to watch the leaves turn for Autumn.
